A - Level Biology

The AS Biology students have been working really hard since the sixth form opened
in September 2011.

There are currently 3 students on the AS course and we are hoping for many more to
join the course in September 2012.

Students took the unit 1 (cells, exchange & transport) exams in January, and will take
unit 2 (Molecules, biodiversity and health) in May 2012.

the students went on a field study course at Shirley Hill to look at biodiversity, and
will be going on other trips after their exams, to study evolution and health.

Congratulations to Year 8 & 9

Massive congratulations to the Year 8 and 9 Netball Teams who both won their
respective leagues.

Let's hope the girls can use this league win as the foundations to more silverware for
the school.

Hopefully they can take this good form into the tournament at Condover Hall in
Shropshire in May.

Edenham Break the School Record.

Edenham has broken the school record by completing a fantastic feat of having 4 teams out
of 5 in this year Cup Finals !!

The year 7,8,9, and 10 teams will be at Croydon arena, so come down and support your school
and cheer on the boys which could be one of the most successful periods for footballs in
Edenham's history !!


  

Weekend away at PGL Liddington

A group of 18 girls are travelling to PGL Liddington this weekend to participate in the Manchester
United Football School Weekend.

The Girls will take part in first class sessions with Manchester United Football coaches.
they will have a chance to use the same professional equipment as used by the Manchester
United Football Academy.

In addition to the football, the girls will have a chance to participate  in activities such as
canoeing, archery, zip wire and quad biking.

It promises to be a fun filled weekend so let's hope the girls enjoy it and have a great time.

·    Your blog is your online journal and they can some time be fun.

·    However, some other students use these blogs to damage other student’s reputations or invade their privacy.

·    Example a boy posted a blog about his breakup with his ex girlfriend and called her degrading names. all of his mutual friends joined in and posted mean nasty things about her.

·    Some students set up a blog or profile page, pretending to be their victim and saying thing designed to humiliate them.
